The Scornful

August 12, 2015

“Scornful men bring a city into a snare : but wise men turn away wrath. (Proverbs 29:8)”

Yesterday as I listened to a message that referenced the scornful- two things came to mind -racism and genocide.

Today is Tuesday and the news for this week has been filled with both racism and genocide.  And right about now the way I see it we have both because too many people want to live a lie out of fear of “looking bad”;  and in this fear of looking bad things in this world have returned too bad.  The racism has been a part of this history since the start, genocide has been a part of history since it’s start, and from the very start both sides explains actions without cause.

Everyone lives in justification of racism and genocide filled with every excuse and refusal of this one Truth, Racism and Genocide are the evils that lies within directed murderously towards others. Motives are blamed on everything other than evil. And if the doers of racism and genocide were forced to see themselves as just that-Evil.  This is when we will get to the Truth, this is when we find our healing, and in my belief a huge removal of how it plagues our streets.

So from now on in racism and genocide let’s just call it what it is -Evil- not mental illness, not kids without fathers, not a police officer in fear of his life, not a product of his environment, etc. Racism and genocide are evil acts and when we take a stand a label it as so-then we will truly see the true believers of God and the ones who says they love him only for show.

To all who have not taken a stand against racism or genocide we are just as evil as the ones who do it. Deeds are better than creeds and it’s time we deed to make a better stand towards what’s honestly right.  Go to a different (race, culture) church, fund a group that fights to make a change, talk to our children, advocate for change.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful  (Psalm 1:1)

May we all Be Blessed to Live the Love of the God, walking in His Truth.
